On Wednesday I went with a friend to 3 Sheets for their Grilled Cheese Wine Dinner and couldn’t wait to get back and share the great experience. We had an amazing five-course meal — that’s right, I said FIVE courses! My favorite course had to be the pimento cheese with bacon on sourdough – doesn’t that sound delicious? And what goes better with cheese than wine? I’m usually not a fan of port wines but was pleasantly surprised with the Taylor Fladgate Tawny Port we were served with dessert. I also tried their great selection of tequilas.

Also, they occasionally do one of the most unique events I’ve ever experienced – flavor tripping! After tasting a rare fruit, you are invited to taste an array of other foods that will soon taste nothing like their original form. Think a very classy Willy Wonka experience.
