CBS Recap: 8/16/12

October 16th, 2012 | CBS Better Mornings, Featured | 2 Comments

On today’s CBS Better Mornings Atlanta show, I offered some tips and picks for supporting Breast Cancer awareness month.  The products and companies listed not only have some great items ( great holiday gifts by the way) but support the cause and donate a percentage of October sales to Breast Cancer research.  Check out the gorgeous sporty bracelets in the pink ribbon gallery at SportyChicDesigns.com (10% of sales) . If you’re a mom on the go, grab a Monkey Mat for portable play time. A great gift for someone in treatment is a soy candle from the Soi Company.  Those recovering from treatment will also appreciate The Brobe (10% of sales) – a luxurious robe with an attached bra,
designed for women who have undergone a mastectomy or have had breast reconstructive surgery.  Go casual chic with Mad Capz (20% of sales) –a unique design created just for women featuring some very cute color combos.  A top-selling baby item that benefits the cause is the Ruffle Butt bloomer (50% of sales), and it can be made even more unique by personalizing it with the baby’s name.  Treatment often causes hot flashes, but the best solution is from Coldfront (5% of sales).  I love the pink-ribbon interior of these makeup bags by Kellie Diane and the Tote Buddy (20% of sales) — a stylish and environmentally friendly way to hold your reusable shopping bags.  What can cheer anyone up more than pizza delivered in a pink box? Think Hungry Howies!  Finally, support and dig into Buffalo’s Cafe. Tune in every other Tuesday at 5:15 and 6:15 a.m. Watch the segments here and here!

Thanks, Jessica! We love supporting Breast Cancer Research by donating 20% of all of our October sales to our local Susan G. Komen org. And, thanks for sharing all of the amazing products that donate, as well.
