I first started using Sleep Number’s innovative SleepIQ technology when I received my new Sleep Number x12 bed earlier this year. Honestly, I was thrilled to just have the new bed and experiment with my personal Sleep Number settings – the SleepIQ feature was an added bonus! But the more I tracked and monitored my sleep patterns, the more I realized how crucial it is to getting a better night’s sleep.
Sleep for me used to mean waking up multiple times during the night and rising tired and sluggish with back pain. Mornings were not my thing and I decided long ago I was just not a morning person. Through my use of SleepIQ technology, I am able to better track my habits and patterns and make adjustments to both the mattress and my daily routine. I started to wake up earlier after more restful nights, free of back pain. It was a learning process, but very user-friendly. I also know how to adjust the settings on my bed to accommodate life changes such as a new workout, staying up too late, or anything out of the ordinary that may alter my sleep activity.
Sleeping more restfully each night has made such a difference in my daily routine and has resulted in more productivity overall. I wake up with more energy, start my day with a workout and actually enjoy mornings! I look forward to getting into my bed at the end of each day and still can’t believe how comfortable it is.
