What a rush! I had so much fun on our day of adventure at the Historic Banning Mills Zip-lining Course – you have to try this! I already can’t wait to go back and do it again. Historic Banning Mills is only about 45 minutes from Atlanta and is fun the whole family can enjoy. Open on Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., they offer all levels of courses from those for beginners to those for experts. Tuesday’s Skinny Sipping Ladies Night at Davio’s could not have gone better. It was so great to see everyone come out and have a good time while enjoying some low-calorie and low price (only $7) cocktails! One of the Voli Vodka favorites was the yummy Creamsicle that combined Voli orange vanilla and ginger ale for the perfect afternoon treat! Hope to see everyone there next time.

I was honored to serve as a judge alongside Cindy of Star 94‘s “The Cindy & Ray Show” last Saturday for the Locust Grove Tanger Outlets “Create Your Own Style” contest.  Attendees were treated to great food, giveaways and fun with the Star 94 van. This contest was part of Spring Fashion Week, which runs through 4/18/12. Finalists were given a $200 gift card and 90 minutes to create their own look.  Congrats to Cora and Kellie for winning “Best Style” and “Best Value.  Thanks to Tanger and Star 94 . Of course, I had to stay and shop and found some great deals for spring and summer – if you haven’t made it out to Tanger recently now is the time to shop.  Great deals and great weather!

You don’t have to travel very far to get away from the city. Earlier this month, I took a great trip to Oceanfront Cottage Rentals in Tybee Island and was taken back by the beauty and all of the great offerings! First, we checked out the dolphin experience followed by a trip to the lighthouse.  Then, we took a tour of many restaurants including The Crab Shack, Hucapoos Jazz & Pizza and more. Last night, I attended the Pretty City/Shape Magazine beauty sample sale at Castleberry Lofts. What a beauty junkie paradise! There were so many great vendors and products, amazing food and wine and of course, tons of SAMPLES! Manicures, massages, makeup, skincare and more from all over Atlanta. The highlight of my night was definitely getting some hair tinsel for the holidays from Melange Hair Studio. It took about 10 minutes and will last about a week.  Or, you can get some clip-in hair tinsel at Balance Salon.
