This July 4-7, the resort will be hosting a weekend-long celebration full of fun for the whole family.
The All American Weekend will kick-off with a bang on Thursday as the Fairy Godmother honors the United States Armed Forces with a flag planting ceremony. On Friday, pint-sized patriots will enjoy the Fairy’s Yankee Doodle Dandy Parade, while parents are sure to love the complimentary Red, White & Brew craft beer tasting featuring American brews.
On Saturday, July 6, salute the U.S.A. with a full day of live music, field day for kids of all ages and a Southern-style barbeque. Beginning at noon, relax with live music in the Beer Garden featuring Chloe Litton and David Peyton. Walk over to the Village Green at 3 p.m. for sack races, egg tosses, watermelon and more at Barnsley Resort’s Old-Fashioned Field Day.
At night, enjoy one of the area’s most popular bands, Peachtree Station and The Athens Horn Connection, and a classic Southern barbeque with all of the traditional favorites. The barbeque will begin at 7 p.m. and will cost $45 for adults and $18 per child. This event is open to resort guests and the public.
For each night booked in a Manor Room, Garden or Meadow Suite, guests will receive $100 activity credit that can be used toward golfing, spa, horseback riding, clay shooting and more.
