HAPPY OCTOBER! October is one of my favorite months mainly because it’s the first sign of fall. I didn’t grow up with fall weather so it’s still new and exciting.
Wine Stroll – Thursday, October 10 at Vinings Jubilee. This Family-friendly Fall Concert kicks off at 6 pm with the soulful sounds of internationally-known jazz artist Jabari Walker. Fox Theatre Ghost Tours Spooks and scares will be around every shadowy corner as guides recount supernatural tales collected from Fox Theatre staff and contractors over the years. Other spooky stops include the hospital room, power room and sub-basement areas, including the stage freight elevator. Tours will be available for three days only, on Wednesday, October 9, Tuesday, October 15 and Thursday, October 17 starting at 6:00 p.m. with the last tour beginning at 8:45 p.m. Tours start every 15 minutes and last approximately 60 minutes long. The rooftop terrace of the Fox Theatre Marquee Club will be open for a post-tour libation for tours taking place on October 9and October 15. The rooftop terrace will not be open on October 17. Tickets are $40.
